We, you and the liquor stores have been without Ensemble for over a month. We worked on the blend for over a month, tasting different percentages of Merlot and Cabernet Franc and re-tasting to make sure the blend represents the best red blend we can produce from the 2010 vintage. Finally we bottled the 2010 Ensemble last week and now we are waiting for the labels to arrive. If everything works out we will have the new release for the Good Life Holiday Market on Sunday December 18th, 2011. The 2010 release has 56% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec. A lot of dark fruit, smooth tannins with promise for long aging in the bottle.
